**What is Bhangra Fusion?**

Bhangra dance high-energy Indian folk dance full of jumps, kicks, spins , dynamic arm gestures and shoulder shimmies!

Originating in the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent as way of expressing joy after a good harvest, modern Bhangra dance is a vibrant fusion of the traditional dance elements with modern western influences like pop, reggae, hip hop and contemporary dance. This melting pot of dance styles has become a vibrant and popular way of expressing Bhangra’s celebratory spirit and keeping Punjabi origins alive!

In my‘ Bhangra Fusion’ class you will learn dynamic dance sequences that combine popular Bhangra steps with elements of Street Dance and Bollywood dance to give you an exciting and energetic dance workout ! During a 50-minute class you’ll master and dance choreographies to lots of pumping modern Bhangra tunes which will raise your mood - and pulse! This class will leave you invigorated and beaming :)

Over the weeks you will find that your muscle memory kicks in and you will begin to dance choreographies with ease, confidence and stylistic flare!

This is an open- level , welcoming complete beginners and those with some dance experience

Please be assured steps are easy to pick up and follow so that you can join in this class at any point without feeling ‘behind’ or overwhelmed.

Another success from I Can Dance. Although the music is after my time, it is very lively with dance moves that were hitherto unknown to me but that are very enjoyable to learn. Since adding the 90's to my other I Can Dance classes, my fitness age has dropped into the 20's. Although I've always been active, I've never been fitter. I wish I'd discovered dancing sooner.

In my‘ Bhangra Fusion’ class you will learn dynamic dance sequences that combine popular Bhangra steps with elements of Street Dance and Bollywood dance to give you an exciting and energetic dance workout ! During a 50-minute class you’ll master and dance choreographies to lots of pumping modern Bhangra tunes which will raise your mood - and pulse! This class will leave you invigorated and beaming :)

Over the weeks you will find that your muscle memory kicks in and you will begin to dance choreographies with ease, confidence and stylistic flare!

This is an open- level , welcoming complete beginners and those with some dance experience
