There’s nothing like a good stamp after a hard week!

Professional Flamenco dancer and teacher   - Ana Garcia is back! This exciting workshop is aimed at Beginners wanting to learn and build on the basics of this passionate and fiery Spanish dance form. 

During this workshop, you will learn basic rhythms, posture, footwork, hand and arm movements including styling & expression. By the end of our workshop you will be able to dance a piece of fiery foot- stamping Flamenco choreography!

I love flamenco and thought it would be great to get a taste of the dance style locally as there are no classes in Shrewsbury area. The session was good and I found the different sections did come together in the end however, I did think we were still learning when the session suddenly ended; it would've been good to end with a loud musical tune to do our complete routine to feel like I'd achieved something and as a proper fin-Olè   ;)

This is my second flamenco class with Ana and if there are more, I shall definitely sign up. 
She’s a fantastic teacher with an engaging personality and a very clear teaching style, giving instructions that are easy to follow. She broke the moves down in such a way that meant we were able to progress quite quickly and perform a routine. She interspersed dance instructions with some background history and also reasons for certain types of moves which gave us a better understanding of flamenco.
It was a bonus having a live guitarist.

A really good class again. Excellent tuition and fun. It made me realize how skillful and lovely Flamenco dancing is. It's a pity more men don't try to learn to keep fit and to keep the mind active. It's much better and more fun than the gym or squash.

Enjoy a fun, fly and full body dance workout to the best 90's tunes!

During each session you 'll learn  90's inspired dance routines to tunes from the likes of Salt n Pepper, Mc Hammer,  Young Mc ....Back Street Boys, Madonna ,  Fat Boy Slim and The Chemical Brothers. ..

Do the 'Reebok', 'Running Man' ,'Bart Simpson' and 'Alf' ! Choreographic style is influenced by 90's dance trends, namely hip hop and commercial dance and will get your heart rate going and body buzzing! 
The class is open level and welcomes everyone interested in getting fitter through dance. Sections of choreography are easy to pick up , and as the weeks go on you 'll find your self not just *following* them but *dancing *them with some swagger!!

Be warned, Sarah's enthusiasm and energy is highly infectious! 
The 90's dance class is so much fun, a fantastic workout and a real boost physically and mentally.
When we are running through the routines I often find myself smiling, I just can't help enjoying myself however hard we are working. 
Whether you love dancing and are looking for a really fun way to get more active, or you've never done anything like it but fancy giving it a go, give it a try.  The classes are a safe space for you to join in your way at your level whatever that is.  
I only wish I had more time to do more of Sarah's classes x

Another success from I Can Dance. Although the music is after my time, it is very lively with dance moves that were hitherto unknown to me but that are very enjoyable to learn. Since adding the 90's to my other I Can Dance classes, my fitness age has dropped into the 20's. Although I've always been active, I've never been fitter. I wish I'd discovered dancing sooner.
